Aladino

Installation guide and fault reference

Installation & readers

Install the Aladino device on the car (or a place not accessible to the user) and fit a user-input reader in the car:

  • Biometric reader – fingerprint + password + card; users get a unique 10-digit code entered into the Aladino database via the browser
  • Non-biometric reader – password (4 digits) + card; no reader configuration needed
  • Connect either reader to Aladino with a 3-conductor cable (COM/GND, D0, D1)

CAN connection & controller setup

Aladino has a serial CAN interface connected via a 4-core cable (2 data + 2 power) to the parallel J1/J2 connectors (CAN-L, GND, CAN-H, VCC 12 V).

  • With BR100 – connect the CAN to the BR100 motherboard; Aladino is powered over the CAN cable. Set BR100 parameter X5 = 3 to enable access control (v1.xxx+)
  • With any controller – add the MoviLift EXPANSION board, whose relays are inserted on the return of the buttons to be controlled

Programming via browser

Configure Aladino from a web browser (over the internet or stand-alone). Register each user with their unique code, authorise the floors they may reach, set the maximum number of trips per programmable time period, and add any free (unchecked) floors.
