Installation guide and fault reference

Installation & wiring

Mount the inverter vertically on a 35 mm DIN rail. Connect the 24 V – 7 Ah lead-acid battery (or two), the 380/220 VAC voltage input and the 9/18 V inverter output to the transformer.

  • 4th-pole input (clean contact) and low-battery relay output available
  • Set the operating parameters with the 4-position DIP-switch
  • Emergency input available on the F.E. version

Emergency operation & test

On a mains failure the Presenza Rete (mains-present) LED blinks for the time set on SW1, then turns off while the In Emergenza LED turns on and about 8/18 VAC appears on the inverter output. The emergency cycle lasts a maximum of 2 minutes.

  • Operating time is settable (8–16 s) via the SW1 switch
  • On the 1-battery 250 W model, hold TEST for 30 s to unlock +50 W (300 W total)

LED diagnostics & protection

The battery-charge, voltage-availability and emergency LEDs also serve as diagnostics. The inverter is protected against overvoltage and over-temperature; battery charge time is about 10 hours.
