Connections & installation
Supply the Villa with 12–24 VDC and connect the signal line. It has 2 CANbus connectors (pass-through in/out): pin 1 +12/24 V, pin 2 CAN-H, pin 3 GND, pin 4 CAN-L. Input C selects the parallel-coding common (positive or negative); a switch inserts the CAN line impedance.
- Keep signal wiring away from power cables
- At power-up the display shows the firmware version, then lights all segments/symbols with a short buzzer tone for a visual check
Programming & parameters
The display is programmed with the ADV and OK buttons on the board:
- P1 – operating modes
- P2 – auto power-off
- P3 – volume
- P4 – 1-wire-per-floor (1ppp) signalling
- P5 – floor offset
- P6 – brightness
- P7 – enable call collection
- P8 – planned floor
- P9 – other signalling
Diagnostics (RDY / ERR LEDs)
Two LEDs, RDY and ERR, assist diagnostics and programming.
RDY – short blink once per second: board operating normally; long blink once per second: board in programming or demo mode (not responding to CANbus).
ERR – off: no error. Blink codes (n blinks + 1 s pause):
- 1 – no CANbus activity from BR100 for over 5 s (DISPLAY section)
- 2 – no CANbus activity from BR100 for over 5 s (CHM2S section)
- 3 – missing ACK message from BR100 after a send
- 4 – inconsistent inputs (e.g. more than one active input in 1-pole-per-floor mode)
- 5 – error sending a message on the CANbus
- 6 – error reading the parameters in EEPROM
