Overview

The Limax system manages the pulses from a car sensor reading a magnetic tape in the shaft, so that after shaft acquisition it determines the target speeds and the deceleration points where the board starts low speed.

  • ELGO Limax sensor connected in CANopen to the BR400 on port CAN4 (with the supplied CANbus terminator)
  • Drives up to 7 binary multi-step inverter speeds, each with its own deceleration distance (params N5 D2–D7)
  • On its own it needs a low-speed approach; paired with suitable inverters it enables direct-to-floor arrival
  • With safety devices it allows door pre-opening at the floor
